Brain Tumors

Brain tumors may originate within the brain or spread from another part of the body. They may be benign or malignant.


Possible Symptoms

  • Headaches

  • Seizures

  • Weakness

  • Vision problems

  • Balance difficulties

  • Cognitive or personality changes


Diagnosis

MRI and CT imaging are commonly used to evaluate brain tumors. In some cases, biopsy or surgical removal is required to establish a definitive diagnosis.


Treatment

Treatment may include observation, surgery, radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, chemotherapy, or other systemic therapies.
